Sunnyside B&B Southport, Southport Festival

The Southport Festival will take place in May every year. Unfortunately the date for 2020 is yet to be released. The festival encompases the former Jazz Festival and now includes a whole range of different arts and culture events to cater for all tastes and ages.

Southport Festival Wood Carvers

Thoughout last years festival there were many of the favourite jazz and folk bands from the old festival along with new styles of music and bands in a number of venues across the town.

There were a number of craft activites, theatre productions and a Big Draw on Southport Beach. There were also a number of comedy and poetry events with celebrity performances from Mark Watson and Simon Armitage. There were also a numer of fringe activitees going on across the town.

We look forward to this years event where the event organisers are hoping to build upon the success of this years event.
